Dominique Proctor, MSW, LSW

Hi, I am Dominique (Dom) Proctor. I am a licensed social worker and have experience providing therapeutic services to children, teens, and adults. I offer both individual and couples counseling. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in 2020m and worked as a case manager and bachelor’s level therapist. I then attended Indiana Wesleyan University, where I earned my Master of Social Work.

Man has been avoiding the consequences of our choices since the beginning. Human beings attempted to cover up their own mistakes and faults by human effort alone. Whether it is AA meetings, self-help programs, or other means of recovery, most of these programs only touch one aspect of a person. A person is made up of mind, body, and soul. Therefore, we need healing for all three elements of a person, not just one. I enjoy working with people to help heal these facets and make progress toward recovery.

When helping individuals with their therapeutic goals, I pull from several different modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I also offer Christian counseling services to those seeking the incorporation of their faith into treatment. I enjoy helping those who have been hurt by the church.

I work as an inpatient therapist at SUN Behavioral in Columbus, Ohio, and as an outpatient therapist. In addition, I am part of the NACSW ( North American Association of Christians in Social Work) and the BLEXIT movement.

Jana Van Hooser, LISW-S

Hi! My name is Jana! I’m happy you’re here and finding the right therapist for you! I will tell you a little about myself, so you can decide if we may be a good fit. If so, let’s rock n’ roll!
I’m a LISW-S and enjoy working with several different kinds of people. My specialties include people with an intellectual disability or related condition, borderline personality disorder, people involved with family court, behavioral issues, narcissism and sociopathy, domestic and psychological violence, and challenging divorces.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I love to get to know the people I’m working with, so I can assist them the best I can. I take pride in my ability to encourage people to be their authentic selves, which often opens up many conversations that need to occur.
I’m problem-focused and often take a very behavioral approach; I like to help you break down the issues so we can attempt to get to the bottom of what’s actually happening.
My therapy sessions are conversation-led, with prompting and questions from me. I like for us to explore all sides of our topic, so I often offer alternative viewpoints, but that’s me wanting to make you think!

Jana currently has a waitlist for new clients.

Kiersten Liles, MSW, LISW

I believe the goal of therapy is to provide a safe environment to explore their life history and learn how to manage stressors, trauma, and mental health on a daily basis. I provide my clients with emotional regulation tools, education on their mental health, active listening, and resources to better facilitate their needs. I utilize techniques from several theories that allow me to bring an eclectic approach instead of a “one size fits all” approach. To have the courage to reach out to talk to someone is an enormous emotional stressor. The fact that you are looking at my profile says you have taken the next step in finding peace within yourself and are willing to be an active participant in changing your life for the better.

I work with all general mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma in adults. I assist the client in navigating the challenges in their lives and finding strengths to build upon. I have worked in foster care and individual counseling services.

I help my clients learn their strengths, overcome barriers and provide a non-judgmental stance on their experiences to allow them to process their pain in a way that is not forced but comfortable and safe. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Wright State University. I completed a dual Masters program at Wright State and Miami University in Social Work.

I have worked with children, teens, and adults, supporting them through self-esteem issues, parenting, emotional regulation, trauma, and many other concerns and life experiences.

Kiersten is currently accepting new EAP clients. Please call or email for scheduling.

Kelly Dominic, IMFT

My name is Kelly Dominic, and I am an Independently Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of Ohio and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate. I have experience working with pre-teens, teens, adults, couples, and families. I take a systemic approach in therapy, viewing someone’s life and all the intertwining systems in which they belong, to work most effectively with those in therapy. I have over 20 years’ experience in substance use disorder treatment, industrial organization change, behavioral change, and psychotherapy in settings such as community corrections, community mental health, private consulting, and private practice. I have been practicing Marriage & Family therapy specifically for the last 8 years.

I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship/couples work, (including intimacy difficulties, infidelity, ethical non-monogamous relationships, LGBTQ+ relationships, pre and post marital therapy) and general life stressors. I have extensive knowledge of military families and reintegration stressors, including PTSD. I also specialize in treatment of gambling disorders, as well as substance use disorders.

I am a Bowenian therapist, meaning I look at patterns throughout generations of the family. In addition to Bowen, I also utilize a strength based, person centered approach in the therapy room. Solution Focused therapy and Narrative therapy are two models I incorporate often. My approach to therapy is not a one size fits all approach. I believe that each person and/or couple/family will require a different approach from me, and I honor that in session. I believe that everyone has the skills they need to heal their lives and consider myself a conduit to help them find those skills.

Kelly currently has a waitlist for new EAP clients.

Kyle Davis, MSW, LISW-S

About me:
I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I have two brothers and a mother. My childhood was very normal until my late teens when my father passed away from cancer. Not surprisingly, this whole process was sudden and challenging in many ways for myself and the rest of the family. My situation could have gone very differently; however I was fortunate to get linked with a therapist who took the time to challenge my thinking. Luckily, I was able to get into college and pursue my passion of social work.

My approach:
Three words that describe my approach are: problem solving, non-judging, and patient. I think therapy can be fun and interesting. My overarching goal with therapy is build a mutual relationship that serves the client. I feel clients have the ability to solve their problems; however, us as people sometimes need someone from outside our situation to bounce ideas off of.

My clinical strengths:
I have extensive experience working with anxiety, panic and substance use. I know first hand how crippling anxiety and panic attacks can be, I really enjoy tying to help others gain confidence and learn to cope with these conditions.

After applying for my Independent license I started working for Veteran Affairs on a homeless/ substance use residential unit. There I taught substance use groups, individual psychotherapy and attended many trainings to widen my skill set. During COVID, this unit was reworked and resulted in me taking a job outside the unit. I now assist local hospitals with our clients and their discharge needs. This obviously is a slight departure from my normal skills and is part of the reason I work in private practice as well.

Kyle currently has a waitlist for new EAP clients.
