Olivia Ball, MSW, LSW

Olivia Ball, MSW, LSW, is a compassionate and dedicated psychotherapist who is deeply committed to supporting individuals who are neurodivergent and queer, as well as children, on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. She is a licensed social worker with a master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. With a year of professional experience, Olivia has honed her child welfare and medical social work skills. Her primary focus in working with clients is to collaboratively address and alleviate stress, anxiety, and worry.

With a Master of Social Work degree and licensure as a Licensed Social Worker, Olivia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She possesses a profound understanding of the unique challenges and experiences faced by individuals who identify as neurodivergent or queer, as well as the complexities of childhood development and mental health.

Olivia’s therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, acceptance, and collaboration. She creates a safe and affirming space where clients feel empowered to explore their identities, express their emotions, and navigate life’s transitions with resilience and courage. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and play therapy, Olivia tailors her interventions to meet each client’s individual needs and strengths.

In her work with neurodivergent individuals, Olivia embraces neurodiversity as a natural variation of the human experience. She honors the unique perspectives, talents, and challenges of neurodivergence and strives to foster self-acceptance, self-advocacy, and a sense of belonging in her clients.

Olivia is also deeply committed to creating affirming and inclusive spaces for individuals who identify as queer. She provides culturally competent and affirming therapy that validates the diverse experiences and identities within the LGBTQ+ community. Olivia understands the importance of intersectionality and works collaboratively with her clients to address the impact of systemic oppression and discrimination on their mental health and well-being.

In her work with children, Olivia utilizes a playful and creative approach to therapy that engages children in meaningful ways.
