Lisa White, LSW

Bio
Dr. Lisa White began her career as a social worker assessing at-risk children and connecting families to community resources. However, she was motivated to work within the healthcare industry and served more than 15 years as a health coach and care manager empowering health plan members. During the infancy of UPMC Health Plan’s LifeSolutions Program, she triaged members seeking behavioral health services. Dr. White was able to help reduce costs by strategically diverting health plan members to the Employee Assistance Program. Her work as a health coach has guided numerous health plan members by assisting them in identifying steps toward healthier lifestyles.
Since relocating to Columbus, her objective has been to utilize her coaching background and education to empower and build more effective business leaders. Dr. White joined the team at Integrated Leadership Systems to coach individuals from various industries and management levels to refine their leadership skills. She used her empathic style to help them communicate effectively and confidently. Dr. White has traveled throughout Ohio, delivering professional speeches and workshops on emotional intelligence, diversity and inclusion, and stress management.
As a Management Consultant at PRADCO, Dr. White supported the Public Sector Services team by drawing on her ability to relate to people of all levels and backgrounds. She interfaced directly with clients by conducting interviews to match safety forces employment candidates with the correct positions. She gave candidates feedback during the interview to increase their self-awareness and insight. Based on her assessment, a comprehensive report was developed for employers to assist with the hiring and decision-making process. In addition to her work with safety forces, Dr. White was a consultant for the City of New Albany, Ohio’s Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Action Committee (IDEA). Her duties in this role included executing project management and facilitating discussions during monthly meetings.
Most recently, Dr. White has concluded her recent position with Kindred Spirit Behavioral Health as a therapist and supervisor for a team of case managers. The mission of Kindred Spirit is to serve the mental health needs of underserved populations with cultural competence and compassion. Her areas of specialty are grief and loss, domestic violence, complicated family dynamics, and workplace stress.
