Cyril Abdiel-Candor, MSW, LSW, is a dedicated mental health professional specializing in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. With a client-centered and integrative approach, Cyril helps individuals navigate a wide range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, and more, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Walden University, Cyril’s research focuses on the impact of race-related stress on mental health, emphasizing the importance of culturally responsive and ethical therapeutic interventions. With extensive experience in psychotherapy, Cyril combines evidence-based modalities with deep insight into unconscious processes and relational patterns to foster self-awareness and emotional healing.

Cyril works with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, personality disorders, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship difficulties. By integrating CBT and DBT techniques for emotional regulation and cognitive restructuring with psychodynamic exploration of past experiences, Cyril helps clients build resilience, improve interpersonal relationships, and achieve lasting change.
