Originally hailing from Pickering, Ontario, Ben Linden found his roots in the vibrant community of Cincinnati, Ohio. Despite venturing for college in Tennessee, the allure of Cincinnati drew him back, where he now resides with his wife and two adventurous daughters. Ben and his family cherish spending time outdoors, exploring the natural wonders surrounding them.
With a career rooted in public mental health, Ben has garnered invaluable experience along his professional journey. He has contributed his expertise to two distinct treatment centers, where he played a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating addictions and eating disorders.
Ben pursued his training and education at Cincinnati Christian University, where he honed his skills and passion for counseling. His journey began at Lee University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, igniting his fervent interest in the field of counseling.
From his comprehensive training and diverse work history, Ben addresses a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. He offers support to individuals grappling with interpersonal challenges, addiction, grief, trauma processing, depression, anxiety, and anger. Additionally, Ben is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), utilizing this powerful therapeutic modality to facilitate healing and recovery.
As a counselor, Ben is deeply committed to guiding individuals toward a place of healing and wholeness, regardless of their challenges. He believes counseling holds transformative potential for everyone and strives to create a nurturing and empathetic environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood.
