Nina Bayes, MSW, LSW

Bio

Nina Bayes is a licensed social worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW), dedicated to providing compassionate and committed mental health services. She offers both telehealth and in-person sessions at the Reynoldsburg location, ensuring accessible support for her clients.

With a strong passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Nina is committed to fostering an inclusive and affirming therapeutic environment. Her background includes significant experience with adolescents and young adults, gained during her tenure at Kaleidoscope Youth Center, as well as through her role as a barn manager where she facilitated therapeutic interactions between children and horses.

Nina’s innovative approach to therapy includes insights from her Master’s thesis, which explored the use of tabletop role-playing games as a therapeutic method. This unique perspective allows her to connect with clients in impactful ways, helping them to understand themselves better.

In her practice, Nina employs a trauma-informed and client-centric approach, utilizing LGBTQ-affirmative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. These methodologies empower clients to shape their own stories and navigate their personal journeys.

If you are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist who understands the complexities of neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ issues, Nina Bayes is here to support you. Contact us today to begin your path toward healing and personal growth.
