Tori Sweitzer is a dedicated therapist at Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc., specializing in trauma-informed care with children and adults. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Ohio University and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Cedarville University. Tori’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, and trauma-focused techniques to support clients in overcoming challenges and achieving meaningful, lasting change.
During her work in the field of domestic and sexual violence, Tori provided support to victims and law enforcement. Tori was instrumental in the response to domestic violence calls, offering immediate support, safety resources, and counseling to victims. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has facilitated group therapy and psychoeducation, guiding individuals and families in the process of healing from the effects of trauma.
Tori fosters a healing and supportive environment by providing empathetic and client-centered care to individuals and families. She focuses on empowering clients—whether children, adults, or couples—to navigate difficult experiences and build resilience for lasting emotional well-being and personal growth.
