Tabatha Wood-Feucht, LSW, CDCA, is a Licensed Social Worker and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant who provides compassionate, evidence-based counseling for adolescents and adults at Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate mental health concerns, substance use recovery, life transitions, and emotional challenges in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where healing and personal growth can thrive.
Tabatha has extensive experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders, addiction, trauma, grief, crisis situations, and co-occurring mental health concerns. She is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve lasting recovery while empowering them to reach their personal goals.
Her clinical background includes facilitating Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups, providing individual and family counseling, conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, coordinating care, and connecting clients with community resources. She has experience supporting individuals through relapse prevention, emotional regulation, grief, crisis intervention, safety planning, and recovery planning, always taking a compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
Tabatha utilizes evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. She believes therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, respect, and authenticity, helping clients better understand themselves while developing practical strategies to overcome life’s challenges. Her trauma-informed approach emphasizes resilience, self-empowerment, and meaningful, sustainable change.
In addition to her counseling experience, Tabatha has worked extensively in behavioral health crisis services, sober living operations, case management, and community outreach. She has supported individuals experiencing housing instability, behavioral health crises, and barriers to accessing care, giving her a deep understanding of the complex factors that influence mental health and recovery.
