Randra Simkins, MSW, LSW. I obtained my master’s in Social Work from the University of Akron.  I strive to provide a nonjudgemental, safe and welcoming environment where clients can begin to thrive and meet their goals and objectives. I have a background in empowering diverse and adult populations in a crisis environment. I incorporate solution-focused therapy, active listening, evidence-based interventions and CBT to help aide in the developmental and wellbeing of client population. I bring a compassionate approach and strive to forge deep connections with clients. I am dedicated to empowering individuals in an individual setting, helping them build upon existing skills, develop new coping strategies, and navigate challenges that may arise in their daily lives. I can provide support with crisis including suicidal ideation and self-injurious behaviors, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and life transitions.
